WACO, Texas — Get those taste buds ready, Central Texas, a BBQ icon is coming to Waco.
Terry Black's BBQ is set to open its newest location on Friday, April 19, right here in Waco!
The Lockhart staple said it plans to open its doors at 10:30 a.m. for Central Texans to order some of the restaurant's famous food, from brisket to pork ribs to sausage and beyond.
According to the Terry Black's website, Terry Black himself was born and raised in Lockhart, Texas, and passed down "generations of barbecue knowledge from his experience in the Lockhart BBQ scene". Black's children Christina, Michael and Mark Black are now bringing their "own style of Central Texas BBQ straight from Lockhart to Waco".
The restaurant is located at 228 8th St. in Waco.
Terry Black's also has locations in Austin and Dallas, in addition to the Lockhart location.
