New wine bar in Waco celebrates grand opening this month

"Let our in-house sommelier team impress you as well as serve you with our wines, champagne, and beer from around the world," the business said on its website.

WACO, Texas — There's a new wine bar in the heart of Downtown Waco that's celebrating its grand opening later this month, promising to offer wine connoisseurs an upscale wine experience.

Marie's Wine Bar will be host its grand opening on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 723 Austin Ave. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by a tour and community celebration between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

"Marie's Wine Bar embodies elegance, beauty, and grace within three generations of our family," the business said in a news release.

In addition to wine, Marie's offers a selection of champagne and beer products from around the world. It's website states that its "elite wine selections" and alcohol are "constantly changing," so each experience may be different than the last.

Foodies will also enjoy Marie's thanks to its small, yet varied food selection from appetizers to charcuterie, sandwiches and salads.
