Miso Pick & Mix just opened in West Temple, offering patrons a fusion of Korean and Japanese food.

TEMPLE, Texas — If you're a fan of both Korean and Japanese food, then you'll have to check out the brand new Miso Pick N Mix that just opened up in West Temple.

Located at 7011 Tanglehead Dr. #110, Miso Pick N Mix comes from the same owners who brought the area Nami Japanese Steak and Sushi.

The staple dish, or "Miso Bowl," is their own version of a poke bowl, however, you get to choose from popular Korean/Japanese proteins like bulgogi (marinated beef), spicy pork, teriyaki chicken, tuna and more, according to their menu posted on social media.

Miso Pick N Mix also offers starters ranging from staples like gyoza. You'll also notice their own fun, eclectic take on food like bulgogi fries or a "misoritto," which is like a burrito, but your protein and veggies are wrapped in soy paper.

And what's a Korean restaurant without fried chicken? Per their menu, fried chicken flavors include Korean Sweet & Spicy BBQ and Sweet & Soy BBQ.

For those who don't know, "miso" means "smile" in Korean.

"We will be offering a free SMILE and offering high quality and consistent food that tastes great every single time," according to the restaurant.
