Chick-fil-A on West Adams is now open and ready to serve!

The Chick-fil-A located on 7545 West Adams Ave. is set to bring 120 full- and part-time jobs to the Temple/Belton area.

TEMPLE, Texas — The wait is over! The Chick-fil-A (CFA) located on 7545 West Adams Ave. is now open for dine-in, carry-out and delivery from 6:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. and drive thru from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Monday thru Saturday.

This location will offer a 'Mobile Thru' which is a dedicated lane in the drive thru for mobile order pickups that were placed ahead of time on the CFA app.

This CFA is owned and operated by Luke Longino who is a Central Texas native. Longino worked at CFA in 2009 as a Team Member in the Temple Mall. After he graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, he was a high school basketball coach. After needing a career change, Longino found his way back to CFA and joined their Leadership Development Program where he learned to perfect his leadership skills.

“This is a full circle moment, and I am so humbled and grateful," Longino continues. "When I was a student at UMHB, I started my career at Chick-fil-A in the Temple Mall as a Team Member, and now it is a dream come true to own my own Chick-fil-A restaurant in a community that means so much to me.”

Longion's location will bring 120 full- and part-time jobs to the Temple/Belton area. The location will also have a special offer for local heroes by providing 100 of them with free entrees for an entire year.

To celebrate the opening of this new location, CFA Inc. donated $25,000 to Feeding America. The money will be distributed to partners in the Temple/Belton community to fight against hunger.

Longino's location is participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table Program, which is an initiative that gives excess food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.
