BELTON, Texas — If you're a native Texan, chances are you have a love and chronic hankering for some delicious barbecue.
While most of us have our own "Best" barbecue spots, Yelp did some research around the US and compiled their Top 100 BBQ Spots 2024 list and it names two Central Texas spots!
Coming in at the number 14 spot is Miller's Smokehouse in Belton, Texas.
Since 2016, Miller's has been operating on East Central Avenue and they have become quite the staple in the community.
At Miller's, you can find just about everything in terms of barbecue. The smokehouse offers brisket, ribs, sausage, pulled pork, turkey, signature sandwiches, wraps and of course some sides.

Next on the list, we have Helberg Barbecue in Waco, Texas at the 70 spot.
This family-owned barbecue spot originated in southern California in 2017, but just one year later came to Central Texas and set up shop just outside of Waco.
Through some tumultuous years, Helberg Barbecue found themselves prospering, ending up in multiple Texas Monthly Magazine lists for best barbecue spots in the state.
At Helberg Barbecue, you can get brisket, pork steak, house-made sausage, spare ribs, pesto-stuffed turkey, smoked mac and cheese and much more.
