WACO, Texas — Do you know this bird?
The Waco Police Department is searching for the owners of a peacock found on May 18.
According to Waco PD, the peacock was found near the 3100 block of Old Robinson Road.
The department said in a post on social media that the peacock was suspected of "fowl play" and had some "colorful" words to share with officers when it was questioned.
Police said if anyone is missing a peacock, there is no need to ruffle your feathers, the bird has been taken to the Humane Society of Central Texas, located at 2032 Circle Rd in Waco.
