Eight puppies are in need of new homes in Mexia, Texas.
The Mexia Veterinary Clinic said eight puppies were left at their facility around 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 26. When employees arrived that morning, they reportedly found seven of the eight puppies.
The clinic said in an update that the seven puppies had been returned to the women who left them at the clinic. The women were not the owners of the puppies, according to the clinic, and were good samaritans who were trying to help the dogs.
They are reportedly looking for local shelters to take the dogs to.
