TEXAS, USA — Evelyn Billington is a Central Texas musician whose performances, like many other things during the pandemic, are canceled.
Billington played with the idea of doing live-streamed concerts but decided to shoot some video performances instead. She plans to release videos on Mondays and Thursdays as a way to show friends and fans that everyone is going through the same thing.
"Music is always healing," Billington said.
Billingston said she can give shoutouts and will take requests as long as she knows the music.
"We are all in this together, so it makes me feel good because I have an outlet for my music," Billingston said. "It makes the listeners feel good because I'm singing to them and let them know it's still here, music is still here, it's still going on."
