TEMPLE, Texas — A car reportedly drove through a local eatery in Temple on May 3, according to Temple Fire and Rescue.
Temple Fire and Rescue said they responded to a report of a "vehicle vs. building" around 1:06 p.m. When crews arrived, they said they found a car completely inside Suzy Q’s Coffee Shop and Café in the Pecan Plaza shopping strip.
Temple Fire and Rescue said there have been no injuries reported at this time. Temple Police and Temple EMS were reportedly also on the scene.
The owner of the restaurant told 6 News the crash happened during lunchtime when there were about 30 people in the building.
Suzy Q's will reportedly be closed on Saturday, May 4, but plan to reopen on Sunday, May 5. It is unclear when the windows will be replaced.
There is no word at this time on what may have caused the crash.
