LOS ANGELES — In a groundbreaking development for the entertainment industry, a historic tentative agreement has been reached between the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and major studios.
The tentative agreement, addresses key issues including compensation for streaming, healthcare, and the use of AI technologies.
The agreement, was reached on Nov. 9, around midnight. It represents a significant milestone for the 150,000 performers represented by SAG-AFTRA.
It outlines a three-year contract, which will now be subject to approval by the board of SAG-AFTRA. The board will review and consider the agreement's terms, before finalizing the deal on Nov. 10.
