SALADO, Texas — This weekend kicks off the Annual Salado, Texas Christmas Stroll, which brings in thousands of visitors each year! The stroll takes place the first Friday and Saturday and the second Friday and Saturday of December annually.
6 News Morning Meteorologist Whitney Huddleston has gathered information from many local small businesses that are offering deals, experiences and plenty of exciting activities to kick off the holiday season!
Things will ramp up as the stroll begins Friday, Dec. 6th, with many local businesses offering extended hours, freebies and fun incentives for coming by to visit. Here are some fun places to check out!:
Empresario Wines- Check out their seasonal signature Warm Apple Cider Sangria! Live Music every day of the stroll. Located in the beautiful two-story white house at 7 N Main St.
Salado Museum- 423 South Main St., Children's story time and Wonderful Wreath Contest; sale.
New Life Methodist Church- hot chocolate station and Christmas bazaar; across the street from the Pizza Place on Main! Street!

HEY! Cookie of Salado- Set up in front of Woof.Salado, they'll have lots of delicious human treats and Christmas gifting items

Terlingua On Main- Live music, multiple food trucks, football on TV, games and more are on tap for this upbeat fun place to check out at 112 N Main! The Grinch, Sponsored by Vista Real Estate will be onsite 6-9 PM on December 6th. They'll also have a stocking bar, cookies, permanent jewelry, african beads/baskets, and more. The Cody Gill Band will be playing live on the 6th.
Bling It Texas- Located at 3 Old Town Road, this cute shop has lots of fun, local goodies! Stop by 10-4 stroll days.

The Rose and Bee- Located at 600 N. Main; they will be open late and will be doing raffles and doorbuster/specials! The Grinch may even stop by.
