63rd annual Salado Stroll kicks off with a parade Thursday night

Join family and friends at the 63rd annual Salado Stoll on Main Street starting at 6 p.m. Thursday.

SALADO, Texas — The 63rd annual Salado Stroll will kick off at 6 p.m. with a light parade on Main Street.

There are carriage rides from 5 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, hot cocoa stations, a s'mores stop, tastings at various shops, and a live nativity from 6 to 8 p.m.

A free shuttle is also available for those in attendance starting at noon each day, running until 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and till 4 p.m. on Sundays.

Both weekends on Friday and Saturday nights are performances of A Christmas Carol at Tablerock of Salado.

Live music can also be found all day and into the later hours at many venues and shops.

The Salado Historical Society Tour of Homes is on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9-5pm. Click here to go to their website.

On Saturday, December 9, St. Joseph’s Episcopal church will have a Christmas Posada Procession down Main Street and end at the Church and host an evening service.
