WACO, Texas — It's the year of the penguin and Cameron Park Zoo is giving them a warm welcome! Saturday Nov. 9, Cameron Park Zoo is hosting their annual H-E-B Zoo Stampede! The event helps the zoo's ability to provide advanced animal care and essential conservation work!
Registration is now open until the day of the race, to register click here. Race day registration will be done through your phone and will require credit card only. If you register before Oct. 28, you'll get the best prices and the best t-shirts! T-shirts are only guaranteed to those who register before the date, so be sure to get started so you can show your support! Additional shirts will be available for purchase the day of the event but will be first come first serve.
Early packet pick up will be on Friday Nov. 8 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and if you're picking up your packet the day of the race it will start at 6:30 a.m.
The event is split up into three races; 1K, 5K and 10K.
1K
- Friday Nov. 8 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. - early packet pick up
- Nov. 9 at 6:30 a.m. - day of race packet pick up
- Untimed race
5K
- Friday Nov. 8 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. - early packet pick up

- Awards to overall Man/Woman, Top Man/Woman (40+), top 3 Woman/Male from age groups (14-75+)
