Governor Abbott to give keynote address at Annual Texas Crime Stoppers Conference in Waco Oct. 9

Abbott will reportedly be joined by local leaders like Mayor Jim Holmes, McLennan County Judge Scott Felton, Waco Police Chief Sheryl Victorian and more.

WACO, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott will deliver the keynote address at the 35th Annual Texas Crime Stoppers Conference awards luncheon in Waco on Wednesday, Oct. 9, the Governor's Office has announced.

Abbott will reportedly speak on "Texas' ongoing efforts to protect communities and arrest dangerous criminals like Tren de Aragua gang members", stated a release.

Abbot will be joined by local and law enforcement leaders, including Waco Mayor Jim Holmes, McLennan County Judge Scott Felton, Waco Police Chief Sheryl Victorian, Ph.D., McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara and more.

The luncheon will be held in the Brazos Ballroom of the Waco Convention Center, located at 100 Washington Avenue, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
