TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple will not hold its annual Bloomin' Temple Festival in 2024, a City spokesperson confirmed to 6 News on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
In 2025, the City will reportedly be introducing an "expansion of special events that will bring additional experiences to the community."
The City did not provide any official details on future events at this time, or if the Bloomin' Temple Festival will return in the future.
"It was after careful consideration and in line with our Special Event Strategic Plan that the City made the decision," the spokesperson told 6 News. "We are reimagining a new tradition to create a fresh and vibrant experience that will better serve our community."
The Bloomin' Temple Festival is an event held each year in Temple featuring live music, family activities, food, local vendors and more for the Central Texas Community.
According to Discovertemple.com, Bloomin' Temple brought in around 13,000 guests each year.
2023 marked the 18th year of the Festival.
