Bell County Comic Con to celebrate 'all that is amazing' on Aug. 3 and 4

The two-day event promises Central Texans a weekend full of costumes, celebrity guests, exhibitors and more.

Ready your super suits, Central Texas, it is once again time for Bell County Comic Con!

The popular event is taking over the Cadence Bank Center, formerly the Bell County Expo Center, on Aug. 3 and 4, promising a weekend full of superheroes, comics, sci-fi, fantasy and more!

This year's event will reportedly feature everything from costume contests to panels, Q&As with the over 25 celebrity guests at the con and halls full of over 300 exhibitors displaying everything from artwork to collectibles to comics and more.

Attendees will also have a chance to meet some of their favorite celebrities, including actors, stunt performers, musicians and artists. This year's guests include "Napoleon Dynamite" actors Jon Heder and Efren Ramirez, prolific voice actors Billy West and Jim Cummings, actress and singer Tatyana Ali, athlete and American Gladiator Jim "Laser" Starr and many more.

This year's convention will also see a reunion of the stars of the 1990s "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movies, featuring the actors behind all four turtles, Ernie Reyes Jr., Ken Scott, Brian Tochi and Robbie Rist, as well as Shredder actor Francois Chau and April O'Neil actress Judith Hoag.

Completing the reunion are TMNT guest musician Partners in Kryme, artist Steve Lavigne and Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman.

Bell County Comic Con will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug. 4. Fans of all ages are invited to the family-friendly event to celebrate their love of all things pop culture.

"Come dressed up in your favorite costume, cosplay or superhero tee and celebrate all that is amazing with us for two epic days!" Bell County Comic Con said on their website.
