Whitney Huddleston is a Central Texas native, having grown up in Belton, and is now raising her family in Salado. Her love for all things weather began as a young child; two memorable storms that she experienced were the floods of 1992 and the Jarrell Tornado in 1997. Whitney went to college in Lubbock, Texas at Texas Tech where she holds degrees in Sociology as well as degrees in Meteorology and Environmental Geosciences from Mississippi State.

Whitney was previously on the weather team at KCBD in Lubbock Texas as well as FOX34, experiencing all of the wild weather than Texas can provide. Outside of weather, she has an additional background in nonprofit fundraising and co-owns two businesses, HuddleUp Consulting and HealthVendo.

You can catch Whitney weekday mornings during Texas Today between 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.
