TEMPLE, Texas — Micah Wilson joined the 'Texas Today' team in June of 2023.
He got his start as a reporter in Fayetteville, Arkansas where he was promoted to weekend evening anchor. While in Arkansas, he became the weekend newsroom leader. Micah covered an EF-3 tornado that ripped through the heart of Northwest Arkansas, the trial of former reality TV star Josh Duggar and broke the news of excessive force used by two deputies, which eventually made national headlines.
Micah has always been invested in his community ever since he was a kid and it is still a source of pride for him which is why he calls himself, #JustAKidFromTheCreek, always proud to represent his neighborhood, Chisholm Creek in OKC. He's excited to explore the Waco/Temple/Killeen area and getting to know people and their neighborhoods.
Micah is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and looks forward to connecting with the local chapter and other organizations.
