Adriana Alexander is a multi-skilled journalist at KCEN in Temple, Texas.

She joined the 6 News team in September of 2022 and enjoys being a voice to the community while also sharing facts with those who need it.

Adriana was born and raised in Riviera Beach, Fla. and attended Florida A&M University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism. While at FAMU, she worked as a reporter and anchor at FAMU TV-20. She also earned three internships, one of them at WFSU Public Media in Tallahassee, FL.

She is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and played trumpet in the FAMU Marching 100 band. FAMU gave her the knowledge and experience to begin her career in TV news only months after graduation.

She began her journey as a multiskilled journalist at FOX West Texas in San Angelo. While there, she covered breaking news including the Mesquite Heat Grass Fire in Abilene, Texas and the fatal shooting of two deputy sheriff officers in Eden, Texas. She also fill-in as an anchored for the station while also producing segments in the newscast.

When she’s not sharing a story with the community, she is probably reading a novel, at the gym or eating chocolate.
