TEMPLE, Texas — Julieanna Jackson joined the 6 News Team in August 2024 and is ready to be a voice for the community, providing the facts and sharing your stories.
Julieanna is a native Mississippian born and raised in Mize, Mississippi, home to the world's best watermelons. She attended the University of Mississippi as a first-generation student, a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, and upon graduation, finished cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Law. While at "Ole Miss," she was a reporter and anchor in the student-run news station NewsWatch Ole Miss. She covered stories across the state, from breaking news to sports and weather impact.
In her free time away from the news, Julieanna loves traveling, trying new restaurants, staying active and spending time with her dog, Zoey.
