TEMPLE, Texas — A car crash located on 3100 block of W Adams is causing diverted traffic flow, on Sunday, July 17.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, TPD said.
According to a video obtained by 6 News, Temple PD responded to the car crash at around 5:50 p.m. Upon arrival they found a vehicle with one person inside.
TPD said, the vehicle was traveling east on West Adams when it left the roadway, striking a brick entrance, then rolling over a security fence crashing into Adams Bend Apartments.
TPD said this was due to speeding. The car crash took out a power poll, TPD said.
According to TPD the residents inside of the apartments had minor injuries. They will be getting displaced until repairs can be done.
Drivers are advised to plan their routes accordingly. TPD did not provide an estimated time for when traffic will be cleared.
