KILLEEN, Texas — Operation Stand Down Central Texas held its fourth annual Spring Stand Down Wednesday.
OSDCT stand downs provide hot meals, haircuts, new clothes as well as medical and dental screenings to the homeless community. Organizers also look for donations to help the homeless population.
Rather than a clothing drive, organizers requested donations of personal items Wednesday.
OSDCT requested the following items specifically:
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Eye drops
- Mouth wash
- Floss
- Shampoo
- Body wash
- Foot powder
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- New towels and wash cloths
- New underwear and socks
- Non-perishable snacks
Donations must be new items.
Donors can drop off items in Temple at the Channel 6 News parking lot until 6 p.m. Wednesday or at OSDCT's store front in the Cove Terrace Shopping Center.
