TEXAS, USA — Editor's Note: The attached video aired on Sept. 16.

After months of negotiations, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Baylor Scott & White have reached an agreement to keep patients in network after multiple months of negotiations.

"We’re pleased to share that Baylor Scott & White (BSWH) and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) have reached agreement that will keep BSWH in network," Baylor Scott & White Health said in a statement to 6 News. As related documents are finalized, BCBS members will continue receiving uninterrupted, in-network care from BSWH."

In late June, it was announced that both sides had reached a temporary agreement to keep patients in network through Oct. 1 after their initial deal was set to expire in the following month, in July.

"We share a commitment to our communities and are proud to preserve their choice of high-quality, in-network providers," BSWH said.
