WACO, Texas — A Waco man has been sentenced to life in prison for coercion and enticement of a minor, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Western District of Texas, court documents accuse 25-year-old Bailey Warren Lowe of using a Snapchat account to request sexually explicit images of a 13-year-old girl on multiple occasions.

If the girl acted slowly or if the photos "did not meet Lowe's expectations", he would become angry and threaten to expose her, the U.S. Attorney's Office alleged.

The Attorney's Office stated that on one occasion, Lowe drove to the minor's home, where they engaged in sexual activity in his vehicle. The minor reportedly told Lowe multiple times that she was 13, and he demanded that she not tell anyone about them because he was 22 and could get in trouble, court documents said.

Lowe was reportedly enlisted in the Navy at the time.

An FBI investigation reportedly revealed multiple chat conversations and "instances of sexual exploitation" between Lowe and additional victims between the ages of 10 and 15 years old, said the Attorney's Office.

Lowe was reportedly arrested on July 28, 2023 and pleaded guilty on Dec. 5, 2023.
