TEMPLE, Texas — One person has been taken to the hospital and one person is in custody after an alleged shooting in Temple, according to the Temple Police Department.
Temple PD stated officers were called to a shooting in the 3300 block of Thornton Lane around 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, where they found one person who had been shot in the shoulder.
The victim, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said Temple PD.
An alleged suspect, whom police identified as 19-year-old Colby Torres of Temple, is in custody for the incident, police said.
Temple PD said there is no threat to the public at this time.
