REAGAN, Texas — A Crimestoppers tip led to the arrest of two people in Reagan.
Authorities said they were notified Wednesday that Tiffany Nutt, a 32-year-old woman wanted in McLennan County, was possibly hiding in a Reagan home.
Nutt was wanted for failing to appear in court for charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence.
According to officials, when deputies spoke to the home's resident he said he had not seen Nutt in some time.
Shortly after, Nutt was found in the residence hiding in a pile of clothes. Officials said about three grams of meth were found on Nutt, and she admitted she was selling the meth.
In addition to the McLennan County charges, Nutt was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance in Falls County.
John William Downs, 58, of Reagan was also arrested for possession of meth and hindering apprehension or prosecution of a known felony.
Nutt and Downs were both taken to Falls County Jail.
Nutt is being held on bonds totaling $510,000. Downs' bonds total $12,000.
