Temple firefighters responded at the request of Moffat Fire Department to a reported vehicle crash and fire in the 16900 block of State Highway 36 on Wednesday, the Temple Fire Department said.
Temple and Moffat fire crews extinguished the van fire, Temple Fire said.
There was one person at the scene outside of the van, and he was conscious and talking when Temple Emergency Medical Services transported him, Temple Fire said.
The Moffat Fire Department, Morgan's Point Fire Department and Temple EMS all responded to the call, Temple Fire said.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
Temple Fire & Rescue said it responded with four units and seven personnel. The call came to Temple Fire at 11:02 a.m. and the last unit cleared the scene at 12:17 p.m.
