TEMPLE, Texas — A 31-year-old man drowned at Temple Lake Park Saturday afternoon, Temple police say.
The victim was identified as Eric Johnson of Moody.
Officers responded to the incident at the park around 5:40 p.m. Sept. 5. Johnson was pulled from the water and brought to shore where life-saving measures were performed. However, the efforts were unsuccessful.
Police say the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
