Former KCEN-TV news director's funeral set for Thursday

Tony Hennes died on Feb. 11. His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bellwood Memorial Park on Airport Road.

TEMPLE, Texas — A funeral service for former KCEN-TV news director Tony Hennes is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at Bellwood Memorial Park on Airport Road. He passed away on Feb. 11.

A visitation was held Wednesday for Hennes.

Hennes was born in Temple in 1947.

He championed Temple and downtown development.

He will be missed by the KCEN-TV news team.
