BELTON, Texas — Belton Police Department officers were sent to the 6600 block of the southbound I-35 service road near the intersection with Elmer King Road after an electrical line crew reported finding a dead body around 7 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22.
The body was identified as a male and pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Cliff Coleman shortly after arrival.
Police say they are still investigating and there is no danger to the public.
